Your letters come as a pre-spaced sheet made up of three layers.
Top Layer = masking paper (through which you can see your letters)
Middle Layer=the vinyl letters

To get started, you will need:
-masking tape (scotch or other types of tape may damage painted walls)
-a credit card (or something similar for applying pressure to the letters)
-a level or measuring tape to make sure your words are straight
STEP 1: Using a credit card, rub over your lettering to ensure it is sticking firmly to the top masking paper.
STEP 2: Hold up the quote in the desired location and lightly tape it in place with masking tape.
STEP 3:Using a level, make sure the letters are straight (or with a tape measure - measure from the floor or ceiling. **Make sure you measure from the letters themselves not the edge of the paper as this may not be cut straight.** Measure from letters at the beginning, middle, and end of phrase to make sure that the whole phrase is straight). Adjust the letters as needed by loosening your masking tape and re-taping in the right place. Check your measurements again.
STEP 4: Once you have the letters straight, place a long piece of masking tape along the entire top edge of your phrase—to hold it in place and to act as a ‘hinge’.
STEP 5: Flip the lettering up against the wall, and carefully peel off the white backing paper. (The masking tape you applied is now acting as a hinge.) Watch closely as you peel off the backing that the vinyl letters are not being peeled off with it! (**If you are hanging a phrase that is longer than 4 or 5 feet, you may want a helper, or to do it in two sections)
STEP 6: Carefully lower the letters, gently pressing from top to bottom, and from the center-outward to smooth out the letters and adhere them to the wall. Use a credit card to rub over the letters and smooth out any bubbles. (Once the letters touch the wall, they cannot be repositioned)
STEP 7:Carefully peel off the top masking layer to reveal your letters. Pull at an angle and watch closely that the letters are sticking to the wall and not the paper. If any letters are pulling up, re-rub onto the wall, or help pull it off with your fingers.
**RETURN POLICY**If for some reason you are unhappy with the style, color, or size of your quote, return your order within 30 days and receive a full replacement (less shipping). If you have already applied the vinyl to your wall, or had trouble applying it properly, we will refund you 50% (less shipping). We want you to be happy with your order and enjoy it for many years! We are more than willing to work with you to resolve any concerns. (*Note: no refunds on seasonal quotes) (Additional charges may apply if upgrading to larger letter sizes.)
