1. Tell me more about vinyl letters...

We use a high-quality, paper-thin vinyl, that when applied has the appearance of being handpainted!  The vinyl comes with an adhesive back and will stick to any smooth surface.  It won't fade, crack or peel when used indoors ; outdoor use is guaranteed for 3-5 years!  The lettering you order will come already 'pre-positioned' and ready to apply in a few easy steps.

2. What is the advantage of using vinyl lettering?

Vinyl letters and designs are easy to apply, easy to remove, and are inexpensive.  Put up a quote just for the Holidays!  Also a perfect solution for renters who can't make permanent changes to their walls, but would like to decorate and personalize their home.   The vinyl can be easily removed at any time with little or no damage to your walls - a perfect feature for when you move or want to redecorate.* You also have the ability to choose and personalize the look of the lettering to suit any style or space.

3. Where can I use vinyl lettering?

Any area that is smooth and clean will work well for vinyl:  painted walls, mirrors, windows, glass, pictures frames, doors, smooth wood, tile, vehicle doors or windows, plant pots, patio furniture. Materials that are not suitable are brick, stucco, some wallpapers, fabric, areas with any foot traffic, or too close to a heat source such as a fireplace.  If you are unsure about an area you would like to use, just contact us and we can help you decide.

4. Will the vinyl damage my walls when I choose to remove them?

*Over time the letters become more permanently adhered to the surface.  If you wish to remove them, just warm up the vinyl with a hairdryer and carefully peel off.  There may be some sticky residue left behind that is easily removed with rubbing alcohol. The glossy colors have a stronger adhesive than the matte colors, and are therefore more likely to bring a little paint off with them.  Generally there isn't a problem removing the vinyl, although we know that not all paints are created equal.  Everyone uses different qualities of paint, different ages of paint**,  and the paint has not always been applied properly.  A little touch-up in the end is well worth the enjoyment of your vinyl design.  If you are concerned about removing the vinyl we recommend using the matte colors. (**It is recommended not to apply letters to freshly painted walls. Let the paint 'cure' for at least 3 weeks)

5. How do I clean around the vinyl?

We recommend treating your vinyl design as you would a hand-painted design.  Wipe gently with a damp cloth.

6. Can the vinyl be re-used?

No.  When you peel off the vinyl it is easily stretched out of shape.

7. Can I see actual samples of the vinyl colors?

Yes!  We would be happy to send you free samples of the vinyl colors.

8. What if I am not happy with my order?

If for some reason you are unhappy with the style, color, or size of your quote, return your order within 30 days and receive a full replacement (less shipping).  If you have already applied the vinyl to your wall, or had trouble applying it properly, we will refund you 50% (less shipping).  We want you to be happy with your order and enjoy it for many years!  We are more than willing to work with you to resolve any concerns. (*Note: no refunds on seasonal quotes)
(Additional charges may apply when upgrading to larger font sizes)

9.  How much does shipping cost?

Generally shipping and handling will be about $4-$8.00 for lettering orders and $8-12 for boards and frames.  Please contact us for an exact quote.

10.  What types of payment do you accept?

We accept payment by cash, cheque or through PayPal.  Paypal accepts all major credit cards and is a secure way that you can protect your credit card and bank account information.
